Terms of Use — InviteMitra
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. What this is
InviteMitra lets you pick a design, personalise it with your own details, and share the result as an image, a video, or a link. It is operated by Abhijeet Gawde from Mumbai, India.
By using invitemitra.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What is free, and what is not
Free, with no account and no payment:
- Every design in the gallery
- Personalising it with your own details
- Previewing your invitation on screen and on a shareable link (
invitemitra.com/i/…)
Previews and hosted links may carry a small InviteMitra mark. That mark is how people find us.
Paid — downloads (two one-time products):
- A clean image (no InviteMitra mark), available on every design
- A video invitation (no mark), available on designs that offer video; that purchase includes the clean image for the same invitation
The price for each product is shown before you pay, and nothing is charged without you choosing to pay it.
You never need an account. You never need to subscribe.
3. Your content stays yours
The text you type — names, dates, venues, messages — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it.
You grant us only the narrow permission we need to run the service: to store your text, to render it into an invitation, and to display that invitation to anyone who opens your link. That permission ends when you ask us to delete the invitation.
You are responsible for what you enter. By using InviteMitra you confirm that:
- The details are accurate and yours to share
- You have permission from anyone whose personal information appears on the invitation
- If a child appears on it, you are their parent or guardian, or have permission
- The content is lawful and not offensive, misleading or infringing
4. Our designs stay ours
The templates, artwork, animations, fonts, layouts, the InviteMitra name and the InviteMitra logo belong to us or our licensors.
You may: create invitations using our designs and share them freely — for your own wedding, festival, party or business event, whether you paid or not.
You may not: download, copy or redistribute our template artwork or animations as design assets; use our designs to build or sell a competing invitation service; remove or obscure the InviteMitra mark from a preview or watermarked invitation; or scrape the site in bulk.
Buying a clean image or a video invitation buys you that finished invitation for your event. It does not buy you the underlying artwork or animation.
5. Paying for a clean image or a video
Price. Shown clearly before you pay, in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes. We are not currently registered for GST; if that changes, prices will be shown accordingly.
Payment. Handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to them — we never see or store them. Razorpay's own terms apply to the payment itself.
What you get. A one-time purchase of the product you chose for that event, without the InviteMitra mark, delivered as a file you download. A video purchase includes the clean image; a clean-image purchase does not include video.
When you get it. Immediately after payment succeeds. If generation fails, we will either fix it or refund you in full — see the Refund Policy.
Delivery is instant and final. Because the file is generated and delivered to you as soon as you pay, a completed purchase is not refundable simply because you changed your mind. It is refundable if we failed to deliver, or delivered something broken. The Refund Policy sets out exactly when, and it forms part of these terms. This applies to both paid products.
Before you pay, please check your invitation. We render exactly what you type. We do not verify dates, spellings or venues, and a spelling mistake is not a defect.
6. Invitation links are public
Anything you share gets a public web address that anyone holding the link can open. It is not password protected. Treat it like a paper invitation — once shared, you cannot control who sees it.
Do not include information you would not want a stranger to see.
7. Things you must not do
- Use the service for anything unlawful
- Create invitations that are hateful, obscene, harassing or deceptive
- Impersonate someone else
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Attempt to obtain paid output without paying, including by tampering with requests to our servers
- Use automated tools to create invitations in bulk
We may remove any invitation and block access if these terms are broken. Where practical we will explain why. If we block you for breaking these terms, we are not obliged to refund purchases.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. If we shut it down permanently, we will give reasonable notice on the website so you can save anything you need. Anything you have already bought and downloaded remains yours.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be highlighted on the site. Changes are not retrospective — the terms that applied when you paid are the ones that govern that purchase.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service — including a guest not receiving an invitation, an invitation being unavailable at a particular moment, or an error in details you entered.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Please check your invitation carefully before sending it.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Please read it — particularly the section explaining that invitation links are public to anyone who has them.
11. Refunds
Set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, except where the law gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
